Client: A publisher of community newspapers in New Jersey

Challenge: The company’s newspaper bureaus were still depending on ancient (by telecom standards) phones and Centrex service from their local carrier,
which offered limited features and higher-than-necessary recurring costs.

Phonextra’s Delivery:
Tied together the individual newspaper bureaus with a converged voice/data wide area network. Among the other improvements was a state-of-the-art voice mail system that provides more options to both employees and outside callers.

Result: Migration to a converged network yielded huge savings in both monthly bills from service provider and internal network-management expenses.
